Review by dscott

dscott Sloppy and clunky by Phish standards, I feel generous in giving this show 2 stars. Icculus is indeed a highlight, albeit not their best. Suzy's several middle names are revealed, and the final instrumental break kicks off with an exhilerating guitar squeal. High harmonies are generally painful wherever you might find them, e.g. marring an otherwise strong early version of Lizards. Bold As Love gets distorted and unhinged, in a good way. *Very* smooth transition from AC/DC Bag to Fee. Bowie is on the jumpy side, but the improve is ahead of the garde. Nice rolling piano runs by Page in GTBT. Those are some of the highlights. Will leave it to others to describe the lowdarks.
