This is still one of my favorite covers that the band does...Sandwiched in between a pretty strong Ghost and a Great BOTT it may get a little lost, but this version is still solid. Looking over and seeing the smile on my son's gf's face even though she wasn't familiar with the song helped make this one a little more special for me.

There ain't a lot of jams in ANY era (and even fewer in this one) that reach the places this sucker reaches, *especially* that remarkable segment where Fish catches onto that jittery, spidery groove and the band approximates a Caution Jam by Those Other Fellas for a few minutes. The rolling waves of effects at the end, reminiscent of the infamous IT Waves, is also very cool (if, perhaps, there to pad the jam length a tad). Probably my favorite jam of 2018, a year that didn't lack for top-level jams.

One of those jams that just barrels like a freight train through every single possible point that you'd think they would end the jam (before the actual end of the jam, of course); there's playing major-key hose, and then there's slamming your foot on the gas pedal and continually one-upping yourself in terms of sheer balls-out rock from start to finish. An all-timer jam from the first show of an all-timer run.

The Golden Age of the year, and certainly the finest since its halcyon tour of Fall 2013, mainly in the way that it blooms and brightens in a very non-Golden Age jam kinda way in the final segment. Yet *another* reason why skipping Dick's 2015 is hazardous to your health.

The final few minutes of this jam dissolve into ambiance so sugary sweet that the CD should come with a toothbrush and a tube of Aquafresh. The October 2013 Golden Ages get the press, but it was a heck of a jam vehicle well before then.
