Phish Hints At 'Ween Costume

Phish's official web site now shows the covers for 100 albums (or whatever the kids are calling them this week), eliminating one at a time, with the last one remaining being the one that the band will perform for their musical costume at Halloween for Festival 8 at Indio. The list includes albums by AC/DC, Aerosmith, Allmans, Arcade Fire, Beach Boys, Beastie Boys, Beatles, Black Sabbath, Blind Faith, Bob Dylan, Bob Seger, Boston, Brian Eno, Bruce Springsteen, CCR, Chicago, Clapton, Curtis Mayfield, Dan Mielcarz, David Bowie, Devo, Duran Duran, Eagles, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Firehose, Fleetwood Mac, Frank Zappa, Genesis, Grateful Dead, Guns 'n Roses, Hall & Oates, Huey Lewis, Janes Addiction, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, Journey, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen, Love, Manu Chao, Medeski Martin & Wood, Metallica, MGMT, Michael Jackson, Michael McDonald, Miles Davis, Minutemen, Neil Young, Nirvana, Pavement, Pearl Jam, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, Pixies, Pork Tornado, Primus, Prince, Queen, Radiohead, Rage Against The Machine, Rolling Stones, Rush, Steely Dan, T. Lemuria 105 users, and no one has a comment on the album list? Much of the list seems dismissible, no where near the status of the Beatles, the Who, the Talking Heads, and the Velvet Underground.

ColForbin I do like the fact that I am on the list :)

Anyway, I think we can exclude another album by the bands they have covered before. And I think they might not want to cover an album by a current band, so that excludes Radiohead, Ween, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, MGMT, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes and Wilco.

I'd really like to see Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (Pavement) or Blood on the Tracks (Dylan). Not that I will be "seeing" either of them live, but you know what I mean.

jugglerswithfire Nothing for me is as exciting as the fact that Phish has resumed their antics-fan interaction...and today is the first day of October. Yes, yes good things are coming
